The Haven House is our local family homeless shelter. We volunteer here by helping clean the shelter, re-organize as needed, landscaping, paint, and with socially-distanced events put on by the shelter.
Brookdale
Senior citizens enjoy the bond they have with our club. Lions can expect a good time writing letters to the residents, sending them holiday items created at a Lions Club event, or cards!
Delta River Senior Village
Senior citizens enjoy the bond they have with our club. Lions can bring joy into a senior citizen's life by scheduling a weekly phone call with a resident.
Project Sunshine
Project Sunshine is a fantastic organization that allows us to bring some sunshine into the lives of pediatric patients. Lions members can expect to film a short clip of themselves saying funny, age-appropriate jokes to send to the children at the hospital.
Since many indoor entertainment options are closed, a popular destination for local residents is the Harris Nature Center to enjoy a nice walk outdoors. We help by picking up trash along their trails to keep our planet clean!
